1. What we collect
For merchants: Shopify shop domain, contact email, store metadata required to install and configure Spokenfor. For buyers: IP-derived region (country, region, city), order metadata associated with claims, and optional waitlist email addresses. Via our website forms we also collect what you submit directly — name, email, Shopify store URL, topic, and message on the contact form, and email address when subscribing to launch updates.
2. How we use data
To enforce regional exclusivity, render the storefront widget, process billing through the Shopify Billing API, send transactional notifications, and operate the service.
3. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with subprocessors required to operate Spokenfor: Shopify, Railway (hosting), Postgres + Redis (data), and ipapi.co (geo-IP).
4. Data retention
Active claims are retained for the lifetime of the merchant's subscription. Waitlist emails are retained until the buyer unsubscribes. Deleted shops trigger a 30-day purge.
5. Your rights
Merchants and end-buyers can request data export or deletion by emailing privacy@spokenfor.ai. We respond within 30 days.
