The five metrics that tell you exclusivity is working

Conversion rate alone hides what matters in a regional drop. Track claim velocity, region depth, and premium retention instead.

Standard ecommerce dashboards were built for unlimited inventory. They will not tell you whether an exclusivity drop is healthy.

What to watch instead

  • Claim velocity: claims per day in the first two weeks.
  • Region depth: what share of your claimable regions have sold at all.
  • Premium retention: revenue per claim versus the standard price.
  • Waitlist pressure: signups for regions already taken.
  • Release rate: how often claims come back through refunds.

Reading the combinations

High velocity with shallow region depth means your audience is concentrated: go finer or expand marketing geographically. Low velocity with high waitlist pressure means you priced above the market in the regions that actually want it.
